The body of a man was found handcuffed in a state of decomposition, in a ravine in the ¨Garrapata´¨ community, near the sanctuary of La Virgen de la Altagracia, in the municipality of Restauración

Dajabón.- The body of a man was found handcuffed in a state of decomposition, in a ravine in the “Garrapata” community, near the sanctuary of La Virgen de la Altagracia, in the municipality of Restauración.

Magistrate Evelyn González and Legal Physician Altagracia Guzmán appeared at the scene, who proceeded to lift the body of a man whose identity could not be identified, due to his high degree of decomposition and for this reason he did not carry any type of documentation.

Members of the Civil Defense of Loma de Cabrera and the Restoration Firefighters recovered the body in said ravine, it was found tied by the hands and neck, with signs of possible burns and injuries.

People who passed through the place stated that for around three days they had been feeling the stench in the environment, but that they never imagined that it could be a person. The acting authorities did not offer any details about the tragic event.
