Three poisoned by unknown substance at Cojedes school

This Friday morning, three people were poisoned by an unknown substance, including a 10-year-old boy. The event occurred at the Battle of Taguanes Basic School in 1813, located in Tinaquillo, Cojedes state.

According to the report from the Cojedes Firefighters, it emerged that those affected are being treated at the Joaquina de Rotondaro hospital, located in Tinaquillo. So far the origin of the substance has not been determined.

Yuleima Silva, one of the affected teachers, told officials that upon entering the school she began to smell an unknown smell that caused her to feel nausea, dizziness, burning eyes and difficulty breathing.

Given this situation, the citizen security forces in the entity continue to monitor the place to carry out rigorous investigations and fully understand the situation, which is similar to the cases of mass poisoning that occurred in educational institutions in Portuguese and Barinas.
