One day after drawing 1-1 with Venezuela in the South American Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, the Brazilian team arrived this Friday (15) in Salvador, where they will face Uruguay next Tuesday ( 19).
After landing in the capital of Bahia, the players led by coach Dorival Júnior received a day off, and will only have to report again next Saturday (16), when they will train at the Barradão stadium from 5pm (Brasília time).
Also this Friday, full-backs Dodô, from Fiorentina (Italy), and Alex Telles, from Botafogo, were called up by coach Dorival Júnior. They will replace, respectively, Vanderson, suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards, and Arana, who suffered a sprain in his right ankle.
Brazil will face Uruguay starting at 9:45 pm next Tuesday at Arena Fonte Nova, in Salvador.
