The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) reports that the United Peru Democratic Party and the Modern Peru Political Party communicated their withdrawal from participating in the internal elections to elect candidates for the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections.
In the first case, Management Resolution No. 000004-2022-GOECOR/ONPE, reports having been informed by the president of the National Electoral Body of the political organization of the decision adopted by its National Executive Committee.
Said party instance annulled the call for the internal election process carried out by Resolution No. 002-2022-OEN-PDPU, dated January 21, 2022. managerial resolution has been notified in the Electronic Mailbox of the political organization.
In turn, in the case of the Political Party Modern Peruthe resignation was made official through Management Resolution No. 000005-2022-GOECOR/ONPE, in which the decision of its National Executive Committee to desist from participating in the internal party elections was reported.
For this reason, the noma nullifies the call for the internal electoral process carried out by Resolution N001-2022-TEN-PPPM of January 18, 2022. managerial resolution was also notified in the email of the political organization.
In both cases, the respective management resolutions have been brought to the attention of the National Elections Jury and the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Renieck).
It should be noted that to date, the aforementioned political parties are in the process of being registered in the Registry of Political Organizations (ROP) of the National Elections Jury (JNE).
