Despite the warnings of the Municipal Council of the Mayor’s Office of Santa Cruz de la Sierra and Mayor Jhonny Fernández himself, the Transporters in the urban area confirmed that the price of the ticket for adults will be Bs 3starting this Saturday, November 16. The measure was assumed by the bases, clarified the leader of the sector Segundo Ricaldi.

“The bases surpassed the leaders, they can no longer tolerate the situation. Tomorrow (this Saturday) we go out to collect Bs 3 in all lines of all unions and cooperatives,” Ricaldi warned in contact with EL DEBER Radio.

The version was reinforced by the former leader of the same sector, Mario Guerrero, who also apologized to the population for the events recorded last Wednesday in the Municipal Council.

“It was a regrettable event and I ask the population, the councilors and all those affected for a thousand apologies,” he remarked, at the same time indicating that the situation is unsustainable, the prices of spare parts rose, as did the family basket, the medicines and to this we must add the fuel shortage.

“We work half-heartedly, we queue for days, no longer for hours. We have all been affected by this situation and the rise in fares.e is not a new topic. I myself, in February of this year (when I was still leader), informed the mayor about the cost study that supported our request and the same councilor (José) Alberti asked the Executive to do the same, but he did not do it. . That is not the fault of transportation,” Guerrero revealed.

According to Guerrero’s version, the transporters attended the call for technical tables that the mayor cited, with the hope that an intermediate amount would arise between the cost study that they presented and what they were going to analyze from the Executive. Municipal.

“Our cost study establishes that the ticket should cost Bs 3.70; We expected an intermediate amount, but nothing came out. Once again the mayor made fun of us,” Guerrero lamented.

The same president of the municipal legislature, Silvana Mucarzel, warned “that they should face the consequences, we are going to prosecute the bus owners (if they charge them) for contempt of the current law. It is already a good idea for the average citizen have to pay the consequences due to pressure from unions and personal interests,” he said.
