The deadline for those enrolled in the 2024 National Secondary Education Examination (Enem) who missed the first or second day of the tests, in specific cases, ends at 11:59 pm this Friday (15), the holiday of the Proclamation of the Republic. the reapplication of the exam.
The request to have a new opportunity to take the missed tests can only be made by the candidate who was affected by logistical problems during the administration of the tests or by having been infected by one of the diseases listed in the current exam noticein the week before one of the two test days, November 3rd or 10th.
The interested party must request a reapplication of the exam on the Enem Participant Page, at website from the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), coordinator of Enem.
The new tests are scheduled for December 10th and 11th for absent candidates who have their requests granted by Inep.
Reapplication situations
Health reasons: according to the Enem 2024 noticethe participant unable to attend the test site due to being infected by the following diseases: tuberculosis, whooping cough, diphtheria, invasive disease caused by Haemophilus influenzae, meningococcal disease and other meningitis, smallpox, monkeypox (monkeypox), human influenza A and B, polio due to wild poliovirus, measles, rubella, chickenpox and covid-19, you may request the test to be reapplied.
Infrastructure and logistics problems – for the re-application of the Enem, logistical problems that hinder the application of the exam are also considered, such as:

· lack of electricity at the test site, which compromises the visibility of the test due to the lack of natural light;
· error in the execution of application procedures that causes proven harm to the participant before or during the test.
Requests related to logistical problems will be evaluated according to possible occurrences recorded in each municipality.
Exclusions
Anyone who missed any of the Enem exam Sundays for reasons that do not fall within the exam notice is not entitled to retake the exam. In this way, the candidate will be considered absent and, if tests were carried out, the grades will only be used for self-assessment.
And if, during the test, the participant claimed to be unwell or had health problems on one of the two Enem Sundays and did not complete the tests on that date or needed to be permanently absent from the test room, without completing the exam, he/she cannot request the exam. reapplication.
How to request reapplication
The registrant must make an online request to retake the test on the participant’s page. The candidate’s request must only correspond to the day on which he or she missed Enem and for which there is justification.
The absence must be justified by sending a legible document, in Portuguese, proving the condition that motivated the reapplication request. Only after sending the document will the request begin to be analyzed individually by Inep.
In case of health problems, the registrant must provide a legible document proving the illness mentioned in the notice. The documentation must be in PDF, PNG or JPG format, with a maximum of 2 MB, and must include the participant’s full name; diagnosis with a description of the condition and the code corresponding to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD 10); signature and identification of the competent professional, with the respective registration from the Regional Council of Medicine (CRM), the Ministry of Health (RMS) or a competent body, as well as the date of service.
The data entered or documents attached to the reapplication request cannot be changed after sending it through the participant’s page.
Response to request
To Agência Brasil, the institute informed that there is still no expected date for announcing the approval or disapproval of the reapplication request, because it will depend on the number of requests made. When released, the consultation must also be made on the Participant’s Page.
As stipulated in the notice, the simple request of the aggrieved candidate in one of the two test phases of the exam and the sending of the supporting document does not guarantee the re-application of the test. Only approval by Inep of the document sent guarantees participation in the exam reapplication.
What will the reapplication be like?
The reapplication of the Enem 2024 tests will also have 180 objective questions from four areas of knowledge (languages, human sciences, natural sciences and mathematics).
The tests will be divided into two days, in the same way as in the regular administration of the exam. However, the dates chosen for reapplication will not be on two weekends, but on December 10th (a Tuesday) and December 11th (Wednesday).
Even though it has the same format, in the reapplication, the questions and the topic of the argumentative dissertation will be different from those applied in the regular period, to guarantee fair competition between candidates.
On December 10th, the reapplication will be of the writing test and objective questions in Languages (Portuguese language, literature, foreign language, arts, physical education and information and communication technologies) and human sciences (history, geography, philosophy and sociology ).
On the second day of reapplication, December 11th, the natural sciences (chemistry, physics and biology) and mathematics tests will be administered.
The video test accessibility resources in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) and screen reader for digital inclusion of people with visual impairments will not be provided in the reapplication, even if they were requested by the participant at the time of registration.
