Tonight, the President of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol, arrived in Lima to make an official visit and participate in the Korean Leaders Week. Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC).
The president was received at the Callao Air Base by the Minister of Defense, Walter Astudillo.
The Foreign Ministry reported that the Korean president will carry out the official visit on Saturday, November 16, being the first he has made to a Latin American country.
In this way, Yoon Suk Yeol joins Presidents Joe Biden, Xi Jinping, and other presidents and leaders of 21 countries who will participate in the important summit.
