This Tuesday, the residents of the municipality of Cabeza installed a blocking point on the Abapó bridge. The extreme measure is to demand that the Mayor’s Office provides medicines to the municipal hospital and execute the construction of an educational module.

The neighbors announced that this pressure measure is indefinite and that They demand an immediate response from the Cabezas executive to their demands.

The blockade was installed at the entrance to the Abapó bridge (route to the south of the country). The road was closed with pits, tires, earth and bricks. The residents of the area announced that they will spend the night in the place in chairs.

Protesters question the lack of medicine in the pharmacy from the hospital. They claim that “he doesn’t even have a paracetamol”. Likewise, they ask for the execution of works that are stopped, including the construction of an educational module.

As a result of this blockade, hundreds of vehicles were stranded without power reach their destinations. The residents announced that they will not give an interim measure until the mayor of Cabezas attends to them.
