SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) is preparing to make a true opposition to the current government administration to rescue the high level of acceptance among national voters and defend the Dominican people from the troubles they suffer.
The revelation is from Johnny Pujols, general secretary of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), responding to the concerns of his interviewers on the television program El Despertador.
“We have to oppose and there are plenty of reasons for opposition to the PRM in the government,” Pujols commented, citing the problems of people in their homes and in everyday life.
Among these inconveniences, he mentioned the electrical service, which the PLD Government left effective, has now deteriorated and with an electricity bill that rises every day, also the deterioration of education, remembering that it was during the administration of President Danilo Medina , which promoted the educational revolution.
In health, the deterioration is also present, pointing to the precariousness in the hospital service and a fundamental service that saves lives, such as 9 1 1, has collapsed.
He also added the limitations in traffic that have disrupted the lives of those who live in the cities.
“All the services that the population should receive from the Government with a certain quality have been declining, which has led the Liberation Party to assume a more active opposition role,” he commented.
He reiterated that this opposition role is what the Dominican Liberation Party has to play and it is what Dominican society is expecting from the PLD, he noted.
Johnny Pujols said that the great challenge of the PLD at the current time, as ordered by its Ordinary Congress, is to make the political organization an efficient opposition party.
