Two subjects were detained after allegedly engaging in the theft of strategic material from the National Telephone Company of Venezuela (Cantv), by officials of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) in the La Carata sector, Upata parish of Bolívar state.
According to the official report, the subjects are identified as Richard Mark Sapson Benjamín (26) and Andrew Sam Gibson Joseph (29).
Both were dedicated to climbing the poles that support the power lines of the different communities of Upata to seize the cables that supply electricity to the homes and, later, market them.
