The UN has released $20 million for emergency humanitarian aid to Ukraine and neighboring countries, the agency’s secretary general, Antonio Guterres, announced yesterday. The WHO Regional Office for Europe expressed its deepest concern for the safety, health and well-being of all civilians affected by the invasion of Ukraine and called for hospitals not to be objectives of possible attacks.
