Leonel swears in the People’s Force as a former candidate for PLD deputy

Puerto Plata. The former president and leader of the People’s Force Party (FP), Leonel Fernandez, swore this Sunday into the ranks of the organization Yajaira Santana, political leader and social activist from the province of Puerto Plata who in the last electoral contest was a candidate for deputy for the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD).

Santana joined the opposition entity along with other former militants of the PLDwho recently resigned from that organization.

Among them are the presidents of intermediate committees of the Dominican Liberation Party in that province: Julio Alejandro Luna (Rigo), José Bonilla (CHU), Andrixson Cabrera, and Jhony Watts Chicon (Jony).

Additionally, there are Rogelio Corcino (Chelo), Flor Almonte, Luis Augusto Beard (Kuky), Luis Rosario, Jhonny Pérez, and the president of CI-11, Winston Agustín Severino Artilez.

Yajaira Santana was councilor of the Puerto Plata City Council on three occasions, in which he worked to defend the interests of the residents of the aforementioned district.

During the event, Leonel Fernández was accompanied in the activity by Radhames Jiménez, vice president and political director of the People’s Force, as well as by Omar Liriano, Secretary of Communications, Franklin Labourt, head of the Secretariat of Operational Affairs, and the retired general José Miguel Soto Jiménez, member of the Central Directorate of the FP.
