In this context, he also insisted that the sale and privatization process of Monomeros could imply the increase in the price of some products in both countriesin addition to the fact that it would lead to farmers having to depend on foreign products and the price of agricultural inputs on the international market.

The president also pointed out that the decision to sell “it could condemn millions of people who represent the basis of food sovereignty in our region to poverty and hunger”which is why he invited President Maduro to “reconsider the privatization of the company that has provided and can continue to support millions of families in our countries.”
