The gates are open for more than 4 million candidates for the National Secondary Education Examination (ENEM) to take the second day of tests. Access to the exam venues will close at 1pm, and the tests begin half an hour later, at 1:30pm. The exam is considered the main gateway to higher education.
Candidates must carry an official document with a photo and the exam can only be completed with a black ink ballpoint pen, made of transparent material.
On this second day of tests, those enrolled will test their knowledge on 90 multiple-choice questions on natural sciences (chemistry, physics and biology) and mathematics.
The test will last five hours, and participants can only leave the Enem exam room definitively two hours after the start of the tests. And to take the question book, you will have to wait to leave in the final 30 minutes of the test.
Visiting the bathrooms is monitored by inspectors with metal detectors to prevent fraud.
