Santo Domingo.-The Central Electoral Board (JCE) reported this Saturday that some services it provides to citizens could be temporarily affected, because they carry out a test plan approved by the Integrated Management System Committee (SGI). The issuance of Civil Status records, identification cards and certifications would be affected.

The information was offered by the JCE in a note sent to this editorial office, in which it indicates that the tests will be carried out during the month of November as required by the ISO 22301 standard, business continuity, in which the electoral body is certified.

The rehearsals will begin this Monday, November 11, with the National Identification Directorate, which will be open from 9:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon. It will impact the identification center of the District Board 01, where the services would be a little slower.

On November 23, the institution will not have the “main data center” available, due to the tests that the IT, Identification and Civil Status Registry departments will be carrying out, from 2:00 in the afternoon to 4:00 in the afternoon. in the afternoon, this will only impact the Plaza Central Service Center and the Engombe delegation, where services would also be a little slower.

On November 29, the Civil Security Directorate will be testing a fire and evacuation drill, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

There will be unavailability due to electrical failure by the Infrastructure Directorate from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, a test that will impact the JCE headquarters and warehouse.
