Political actors seal a ‘liberal alliance’ with the priority of finding a single candidate for the 2025 presidential elections

According to the signed document, The bloc will seek the selection of a single opposition candidate through a mechanism of citizen primary elections in which the different pre-candidacies compete with each other for the preference of the citizens and that it is the latter that finally elects the sole opposition candidate.

“The clarity of the liberal proposal is something that we are not going to compromise to achieve a greater alliance with more members. We are presenting the country with a clear proposal, which we are going to qualify as liberal. “We are aware that there are other opposition candidates or pre-candidates who have different offers, but we want us all to present the options to the citizens and for them to choose which opposition candidate they want to end the authoritarianism of the MAS,” Roca explained to this newspaper. .
