The lawyer of the former first lady Fabiola Yáñez, Mariana Gallego, accused the former Argentine president Alberto Fernandez (2019-2023) send “disturbing” messages to his client, despite the fact that he is prohibited by Justice from communicating with her, according to local media reports.

Gallego filed a complaint before Judge Julián Ercolini in which he accuses Fernández of having used his son’s cell phone to send his ex-partner two alleged text messages that were intended to affect your client’s emotional stability.

The former president would have sent Yáñez, last Thursday, two links to a newspaper article titled: “Lies and inconsistencies in the story of the Yáñez family”according to the TN news portal this Saturday.

To Fernández, who already has a request for an investigative statement requested by prosecutor Ramiro González, Justice had prohibited him from having any type of contact with the former first lady and leave the country.

After the judicial presentation, Ercolini demanded that the former president stop contacting Yáñez or their family members and cease “all acts of direct or indirect intimidation.”

The judge added that communication can only be with his ex-partner’s family on issues related to the upbringing of his son and warned thatand future transgressions would be considered “obstruction of Justice.”a crime that can involve preventive detention.

Fernández is accused of two minor injuries, doubly aggravated because they were gender violence and allegedly exercised against Yáñez and a serious injury due to the permanent weakening of his ex-partner’s health, also doubly aggravated.

The former president is also accused of the crime of coercion so that Yáñez did not report the alleged attacks, something for which he can be sentenced to up to 18 years in prison.
