They activate Yellow Alert for low temperatures of up to 4 degrees in these 5 municipalities of CDMX

The Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection (SGIRPC) reported that the Yellow Alert due to the forecast of low temperatures It was activated, because by dawn this Sunday, November 10, five municipalities are expected to have that weather.

The forecast is for temperatures of 4 to 6 degrees Celsius between 04:00 and 08:00 in the high areas of:

  1. Alvaro Obregon
  2. Cuajimalpa.
  3. Magdalena Contreras.
  4. Milpa Alta.
  5. Tlalpan.

Protect yourself in cold weather

The SGIRPC gives you the following recommendations to protect you from cold weather:

  • Use cream to protect and hydrate your skin against the cold.
  • Avoid exposing yourself to sudden changes in temperature.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Eat fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins A and C.
  • Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizer.
  • If you have discomfort, go to the nearest health center.
  • If you use heaters and/or fireplaces, maintain adequate ventilation.
