Santo Domingo. – The pharmaceutical multinational OM Pharma announced its relaunch in the Dominican Republic with an executive team to market its brands.
In a presentation last night, he announced Dunia Fernández, a veteran executive in the pharmaceutical sector with more than 25 years of marketing, strategy, commercial and sales experience, as country representative.
Fernández reports to the Central American commercial management, led by Dr. Tania Zablah and, in turn, reports to the Latin American headquarters located in Lima, Peru, under the leadership of Rómulo Gallo.
It is a global biopharmaceutical company based in Geneva and its market focus is the prevention of respiratory and urinary tract infections, as well as the treatment of vascular diseases.

Founded in 1930, it is represented in more than 100 countries. Its business model is based on distribution, through an international network of partners such as AstraZeneca, in China; Grunenthal in Mexico; and Chiesi, in Brazil.
In the country it is allied in distribution with the firms Daniel Espinal, Alfau y Sánchez and Dinafa, while maintaining subsidiaries and a sales team in the country, Switzerland, Peru, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Qatar and new office in Shanghai.
The brands of this multinational are Broncho-Vaxom, an extract of different bacterial species used for the prevention of recurrent respiratory tract infections; and Uro-Vaxom, an extract of various strains of Escherichia coli for the treatment and prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections.
Likewise, Doxium, a microvascular protector used in the treatment of microangiopathies, signs of chronic venous insufficiency in the lower extremities and hemorrhoidal syndrome.
Its product offering is complemented by Dicynone, a capillary hemostatic, a treatment for capillary hemorrhages of diverse origin, such as abundant menstrual bleeding or surgeries that affect highly vascularized tissues; and Antiflatulent Aero OM, which acts to relieve discomfort caused by gas in babies and adults.
The relaunch took place this Thursday night at the Embassy Suites hotel with the presence of Dunia Fernández, Rómulo Gallo, Julián Duarte, commercial manager of Close Up Centroamérica; and Reyna Boggiano, Medical Affairs of Central America, DR and Peru.
