Public Ministry has served more than 65 thousand grandparents

Through street justice programs, the Public Ministry has served 65,111 people and has managed to restore 3,000 homes to seniors in one year through the program “The Public Ministry protects the elderly.”

Such is the case of Mr. Lester Silva, 77 years old, who had had his home in Caracas taken away 20 years ago and could not use it, this being his only asset.

Silva presented his case during a day of care for the elderly held in Plaza Bolívar in Baruta a couple of weeks ago, where he had the opportunity to meet prosecutor Saab and present his case to him.

Last Wednesday, Mr. Silva delivered a letter of gratitude to prosecutor Saab “for having listened to him kindly and helped him with something that seemed impossible to him to achieve, for the time that had passed since the incident with his home and for having done justice in his home.” case”.

From Plaza Bolívar in the Chacao municipality, the head of the criminal action explained that within the framework of the program “The Public Ministry Attends your Complaint in the Parish” has provided attention to 11,374 people throughout the country; 573 complaints have been collected; 9,304 free orientations have been offered, in addition to 487 requests for expediting cases and 584 requests for social assistance.
