Officials from the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) in conjunction with the Bolivarian National Police located eight panels of marijuana in Falcón, according to reports.

The drugs were found on the shores of El Cerrador beach, Tocópero municipality, where the police-military commission was carrying out the fragmentary Operation 04-24 Sabanas Altas, aimed at dismantling groups that generate violence and organized crime. The eight panels had a total weight of 3 kilos 800 grams, according to a report from Detachment 132 of the GNB.

The drug belongs to the Sabanas Altas drug gang that operates on the Falcón coast, preparing drug shipments abroad by sea, according to investigations.
Another anti-drug procedure was carried out in the Las Casas sector, Machiques de Perijá municipality, Zulia state, where the military located a trail that was used by drug trafficking groups. Once the infrastructure was located, the military proceeded to disable it, according to the report of the Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit No. 11.

And at the Citizen Service Point located in Peracal (Táchira), the military detained Rick Enrique Manzanilla Cermeño who came from Colombia transporting a panel of cocaine (1 kilo 194 grams), hidden inside a can of mushrooms.
