Declares an ex-spy who admitted on TV having made reports about ‘Pata’ Medina

Two judicial files and Congress, following in the footsteps of the anti-union judicial table

The federal judge of La Plata Ernest Kreplack summoned to testify this Friday as a witness to a ex-spy of the Federal Intelligence Agency (AFI) that admitted in a television program to have made reports about the construction unionist Juan Pablo ‘Pata’ Medina, reported judicial sources.

The summons took place in the case in which it is being investigated whether former officials of the Buenos Aires government of Maria Eugenia Vidal coordinated actions outside the law with former directors of the AFI, businessmen from La Plata, judges and prosecutors, to achieve the imprisonment of the leader of the Union of Construction Workers (Uocra) of La Plata.

The case began after the current comptroller of the AFI, Cristina Caamanopresent before the Justice a video – allegedly found among the digital records of that agency – in which former Vidal officials and AFI directors could be seen instructing construction businessmen to advance against Medina.

At that table were, among others, the former legal director of the AFI, Juan Sebastián De Stéfano, and the agency’s then head of Counterintelligence, Diego Dalmau Pereyra, who reported to the area in which Araque reviewed, who was now summoned as a witness.

Araque, who must appear this Friday in the federal court of La Plata, is prosecuted for alleged illegal espionage in the case in which the actions of the so-called super mario brosa group of AFI spies who shared a WhatsApp group with that name.

The so-called “Super Mario Bross” came to the AFI from the Police of the City of Buenos Aires when Mauricio Macri was President and, as now, the city was governed by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.

This group of spies followed politicians such as Rodríguez Larreta himself, trade unionists such as Hugo and Pablo Moyano, social leaders and even journalists, according to the file that began in the federal court of Lomas de Zamora but is now processed in the Buenos aires city.

In addition to summoning Araque as a witness, Judge Kreplak asked his Buenos Aires colleague Marcelo Martínez de Giorgi to send him any information that is certified if evidence of intelligence activities aimed at gathering information about the UOCRA of La Plata was detected in that file. or about its Secretary General, Juan Pablo Medina.

In the case being processed in La Plata, there are at least six documents dated May 2017 -the month before the Bapro meeting- that Araque said were his authorship.
