Students of the polytechnic Mexico presented a new project about immigration control in the fair of Innovation and Industrial Entrepreneurship that takes place in the gardens of the Gran Teatro del Cibao, in Santiago de los Caballeros.
Marielka Cabrera, a fifth-grade high school student, explained that they used the intelligence artificial to create the system.
Details that the program allows check efficiently the flow of people entering and leaving a certain place, including the country through border crossings.
The young woman specifies that the tool includes record, monitoring of personal data and travel documents.
He points out that the system includes alerts of security when a person tries to enter a space irregularly.
The initiative, created as extent of securitycan be used in the Integrated Transportation System, composed of the monorail and the cable car, as well as in companies and institutions that have a high flow of personnel.
The fair in which the project It is organized by the Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness (Proindustria).
Ilonka Acosta, director of Industry Support at Proindustria, highlighted that the participants in the exhibition have demonstrated great ability creative with projects technological.
“We have many young people who are showing great ability creativewith digital proposals and advanced technological systems,” he pondered.
He highlighted that many of the projects which are presented in the fair represent solutions for the industry and common problems in society.
Ilonka Acosta said that one of the objectives of the sample is to identify investors to promote the projects presented.
Rafael –Papito- Cruz, director of the Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness, assures that the fair Innovation and Industrial Entrepreneurship is a milestone for Santiago.
“For Proindustria, to promote, through this type of events, the modernization and innovation of the industry manufacturing in the Dominican Republic constitutes an honor and a commitment for us,” said Cruz.
The fairinaugurated on Wednesday night, runs until this Friday.
