The National Assembly of Regional Governments (ANGR) issued a statement to express its support for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, highlighting the crucial role of this event in promoting the economic and social development of Peru.
According to the ANGR, this international meeting, which brings together the most dynamic economies of the Asia-Pacific region, represents a unique opportunity to attract foreign investment, enhance international trade and promote technology transfer to the country.
The ANGR highlights that 67% of Peru’s global trade is carried out with APEC member economies, which demonstrates the relevance of this summit for the national economic future.
In that sense, the ANGR asked the sectors of Peruvian society to contribute to an environment of tranquility and cooperation during its implementation.
“The ANGR calls for reflection and constructive dialogue during the development of the summit. This is a moment for Peru to show itself as a united nation committed to its inclusive development,” they noted.
