Sullana: Establishments are closed for failing to comply with health regulations

In a joint operation, the Provincial Municipality of in coordination with the Crime Prevention Prosecutor’s Office and the Directorate of Health Regulation and Supervision (DIRFIS), closed two commercial establishments in the province of Sullana, due to non-compliance with health and operating standards.

This is a pharmacy located in the Villa Perú Canada urbanization for not complying with good pharmaceutical chemistry practices, despite having the required documentation for its operation. Given this situation, the temporary closure of the establishment was ordered for a period of seven days.

On the other hand, a commercial establishment on the Benjamín Huamán de los Heros boardwalk was intervened because its owner did not present the necessary documentation to prove its legal operation, for which a fine of 50% of a Tax Unit was imposed ( ITU) and its temporary closure was ordered for 15 days.

The deputy manager of Municipal Control, Abg. Jenny Gonzales commented that the objective of these operations is to guarantee the health and well-being of the Sullanera population, ensuring compliance with health regulations and ensuring that the products and services offered meet the established quality standards.
