Foreign Minister Murillo gave his opinion this Wednesday about the new relations between the Government of President Nicolás Maduro and the returned administration (Donald) Trump that will take office in January of next year 2025. “Colombia awaits the proposals from the United States, I don’t know what’s going on. to make the United States,” he declared to the media in his country.

Murillo took advantage of the occasion to congratulate Donald Trump, after his election as president of the United States. The chancellor referred to one of the most complex issues and that is the relationship between that country and Venezuela.

He indicated that “I don’t know what Trump thinks (…) we have a position regarding Venezuela; Let’s hope that the US proposes. We have the best disposition, that relationship is going to go well, it is going to be very pragmatic and that is the prognosis that we have.”

Meanwhile, Arreaza continued to ask himself, “What does Colombia have to do with the relationship between Washington and Caracas?”

“He should attend to his own internal affairs and his country’s relations with the world, which are complex enough,” he added.
