The vice president of the United States (USA), former presidential candidate Kamala Harris recognized the victory of an opponent Donald Trump. The official asked her loved ones to accept the defeat of her proposals in the elections that were held on November 5.
Harris referred to the citizens in the afternoon of this November 6, hours after knowing the result. «Today my heart is full of gratitude for the trust you have placed in me. Full of love for our country. The results are not what we wanted, what we have fought for and voted for, but hear me: the light of American promise will always shine. “We cannot give up, we have to keep fighting,” he said during his speech at Howard University.

Kamala Harris assured that she will work together so that the transition of power is peaceful. At the same time, he made it clear that the fight for freedom, justice and dignity will never be abandoned. He also said that he will continue campaigning for equity, women’s rights, and the rule of law and justice.
«When one loses the elections, the results are accepted. This is a principle, what differentiates democracy from anarchy or tyranny. Anyone who asks for trust from the public has to comply with these principles. We owe loyalty not so much to a president or political party, but to the Constitution, to our God and our conscience,” he added.
Donald Trump managed to win the popular vote in Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina, cementing a clear path to victory in the United States presidential elections. As soon as the FOX News network announced that in the first of those states, the territory that would define the entire contest, was left in the hands of the Republican candidate, the former president took the stage of his campaign command in Palm Beach, Florida, to declare himself the winner.
