Black Friday: most consumers should spend between R$201 and R$500

Research carried out with 126 thousand people across the country shows that the majority intend to spend between R$201 and R$500 on Black Friday, which takes place on November 29th. According to the survey, 17% of respondents said they intended to spend up to R$50. The intention to make purchases of R$51 to R$100 was mentioned by 9.8%; from R$101 to R$200, for 9.4%; from R$201 to R$500, by 23.6%; from R$501 to R$1,000, for 18.5%; and above R$1,000, by 21%.

Food and electronic products are the most desired by respondents, cited by 18.2% and 18.1%, respectively; followed by household items (15.3%), clothing (7.4%), hygiene and beauty (7.2%), drinks (2.8%) and travel (2.5%).

For Tiago Aguiar, executive superintendent of products, new businesses and marketing at TecBan, owner of Banco24Horas, the research shows that the date can be taken advantage of by people from different income brackets.

“The research shows that, regardless of the region and the products and services chosen, consumers are aware of the date, which, in addition to attractive discounts compared to other periods on the calendar, also surprises with flash offers that fit different budgets”, highlighted Aguiar.
