More than 30 countries in the world are currently victims of 37,433 unilateral coercive measures imposed by imperialism and its allies to affect these peoples and violate their human rights, denounced the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
“That is a policy of extermination. More than 30 countries have been illegally sanctioned, but 91% of these are energy producers and the largest energy reserves on the planet are concentrated there. Behind these blockades there is a very clear policy to seize the resources of the planet’s energy producers,” Rodríguez highlighted during his participation in the Anti-Fascist World Parliamentary Forum taking place in Caracas.
In this sense, he highlighted that these countries that apply “hegemonic imperialist policies” want to take over the world’s energy to use it in war. “It’s not that they need energy as the new world conceives it. It is not the energy for the development of people, for the construction of a future that allows people to be happy, it is the energy for war, for destruction, for annihilation, for violence,” he emphasized.
Likewise, he denounced that to support these actions, the media and their large machines have undergone a technological transformation, through which they impose algorithms on social networks that privilege death, hatred, violence and war.
“It is a global policy conceived from the hegemonism of the global north against the global south,” he said, while emphasizing that the nations that make up the global south are the majority and fight against these countries that impose themselves by force, through war, the violation of human rights.
New geopolitical reconfiguration
Likewise, the Minister of Petroleum also asserted that a new geopolitical reconfiguration is currently being developed in the world for the construction of a new international economic morphology different from the hegemony of the dollar.
“The hegemony of the dollar has allowed criminal economic blockades to be imposed automatically, immediately, with the push of a key,” he said while drawing attention to the emergence of fascist movements in response to the crisis of the capitalist model.
Fight for the Palestinian cause
Likewise, during her participation in the forum that takes place at the Parque Bolívar Convention Center located in La Carlota, Miranda state, the vice president of the Republic recalled the debt that the United Nations Organization (UN) maintains with the Palestinian cause. .
“The UN was born with a seed and a pending cause, which is the Palestinian cause. As the decades have passed, we have seen, rather, an organization that withers. As President Maduro said: Every bomb that falls on Gaza is a bomb that falls on the United Nations system and its inability to defederate nations,” he stressed.
Likewise, he applauded the courage of the Palestinian people who remain in resistance to the genocide committed by Israeli Zionism in the Gaza Strip. “We are witnessing, on the one hand, a policy of extermination, planned, conceived. On the other hand, we are seeing a noble, heroic people, who do not kneel, who remain standing, fighting,” he emphasized.
