The COE indicated that the provinces on yellow alert are Puerto Plata, Pedernales, Hermanas Mirabal, Barahona, Valverde, Duarte, Espaillat and Dajabón. While in green, there are Santo Domingo, San Juan, Montecristi, Samaná, Elías Piña, Azua, La Altagracia, San Pedro de Macorís, Distrito Nacional, Santiago, San Cristóbal, San José Ocoa, María Trinidad Sánchez, La Romana, Peravia , El Seibo and Hato Mayor.
