The Ministry of Health reported this Thursday 30,675 new cases of coronavirus in Chile, of which 17,240 correspond to symptomatic people and 4,210 have no symptoms. In addition, 9 .225 PCR Positive tests were recorded that were not reported.
The total number of people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the country reaches 2,953,895. Of this total, 106,133 patients are in the active stage. The recovered cases are 2,798,492.
Regarding deaths, according to the information provided by the DEIS, in the last 24 hours there were 224 deaths from causes associated with COVID-19. The total number of dead amounts to 41,795 in the country.
To date, 1,070 people are hospitalized in Intensive Care Units, of which 871 are supported by mechanical ventilation.
In relation to the Integrated Health Network, there are a total of 154 critical beds available for the patient who requires it, regardless of the region where they are located.
Regarding the Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity, the results of 110,072 PCR tests and antigen tests were reported yesterday, reaching a total of 32,622,958 analyzed nationwide to date. The positivity for the last 24 hours at the country level is 25.62%.
Regarding the Sanitary Residences, there are 43 accommodation facilities, with a total of 4,169 beds. There are currently 1,591 users in these establishments.
