Gratitude
The counting task was possible thanks to the prefect Jorge González, who allowed us to work in the prefecture of the port of Nueva Palmira where the ballot boxes were received; to the electoral court official Malvina Sarett; to the local observers Andrea Pedroncino and José Bevegni; to the members of the 22 tables that worked on the election.
Plebiscites
Both at the departmental level and in Nueva Palmira, both plebiscites failed. At the departmental level, the white ballot for the Social Security reform obtained 33,477 votes; the yellow one for the nighttime raids obtained 43,067 votes.
At the Palmira level, the white one reached 3,109 votes and the yellow one 3,165.
As will be seen at the level of the department of Colonia and Nueva Palmira, although none of the plebiscites achieved 50% plus one vote, the night raids achieved greater support.
