Executive appoints Ferrer Anívar Rodríguez as president of Osiptel

The Executive Branch temporarily appointed Ferrer Anívar Rodríguez Rodríguez as Executive President of Supervisory Body for Private Investment in Telecommunications (Osiptel).

The decision was published this Monday through Supreme Resolution No. 230-2024-PCM, which bears the signature of the president Dina Boluarte and that of the president of the Council of Ministers, Gustavo Adrianzen.

The official will hold the position until the return of Rafael Muente Schwarzwho was suspended in September for 365 days, without pay, for alleged violations of the Civil Service Law.

Muente accused the head of the cabinet, Gustavo Adrianzén, of lacking impartiality and having a “proven animosity” against him.
