“Probably, it should coincide with the APEC forum,” the secretary general of the aforementioned federation, David Hereña, told RPP.

According to the leader, nearly 18,000 Public Ministry workers will carry out an indefinite national strike.

The protest by the workers of the Prosecutor’s Office will coincide with the day of protests by the transport unions and left-wing political groups – such as Nuevo Perú, by Verónika Mendoza; Together for Peru, by Roberto Sánchez; Fenatep, by Moisés Chipana; and CNUL, by Lucio Ccallo, linked to Movadef, according to Dircote—for the 13th, 14th and 15th of this month.

In an interview with RPP, David Hereña, secretary of the National Federation of Public Ministry Workers, announced that this Wednesday, November 6, the start date of the protests in the different headquarters of the organization will be defined.

The leader said that the Lima Central Morgue is in critical conditions due to the shortage of equipment necessary to carry out its work. He also denounced the lack of forensic medical personnel and autopsy technicians, which aggravates the situation.
