An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 was recorded in the city of Tacna this Sunday, November 3, according to the Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP).
According to the official report, the tremor took place at 4:18 p.m. and its epicenter was located 293 kilometers southeast of Calana, in Tacna.
Furthermore, the telluric movement It had a depth of 315 kilometers and was felt with an intensity of grade II and III in Calana.
So far, Civil Defense authorities have not reported any possible personal or material damage caused by the recent earthquake.
