Current four-time champions, Corinthians came closer to guaranteeing a place in the final of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino this Sunday (3), by beating São Paulo – the hosts of the match – 1-0, at the Estádio do Canindé. Duda Sampaio, Brazilian national team midfielder, scored for Brabas in the second half, in the match that was repeated end of last year’s Brasileirão Feminino, won by Timão, six-time champion of the national competition.

Next Sunday (10), at 11 am (Brasília time), Corinthians decides the classification against Tricolor from São Paulo, at Neo Química Arena, with the advantage of a draw. Paulistão, which started in September with 11 teams, is the largest women’s football state in the country.
The other semi on Sunday (11), between Palmeiras and Ferroviária, will take place at 3:30 pm, at Allianz Parque, home of Verdão. The dispute remains open, as the first match, on Saturday (2), was a 1-1 draw at Fonte Luminosa, in Araquara (SP). Right-back Katiuscia opened the scoring at home, in the 36th minute, but afterwards the Guerreiras Grenás were left with one less player on the field with the expulsion of midfielder Micaelly. In the second half, forward Amanda Gutierres, also from the national team, equalized in the 16th minute.
