Diego Raúl Sierralta, son of oncology patient Yenny Barrios, detained after the protests of July 29 and 30, denounced that the forensic doctor’s report ordering the hospitalization of his mother due to the delicate state of health in which she was finds, has not arrived in Caracas for the authorities to evaluate the doctors’ recommendation
Diego Raúl Sierralta, son of Yenny Barrios, an oncology patient who was detained during the protests against the election results of July 28, asked the authorities to intercede so that his mother is treated by doctors. He warned that the woman is dying and has not received adequate medical attention.
Sierralta made the call in a video published on social networks this Sunday, November 3. He explained that the most recent report from the medical examiner indicated that Barrios should be hospitalized. Despite the above, he stated that his mother remains in the Pato e Palo detention center of the PNB in the state of Lara.
«It is 53 days since my mother’s arrest. When forensic medicine was asked to evaluate her, it wasn’t just that I saw her, but that she couldn’t stay there, in Caracas there is no report that corroborates my mother’s condition, which shows that she urgently needs to be hospitalized. Sierralta mentioned.
Barrios suffers from large cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and was detained in Carora, Lara state by Venezuelan security officials.
According to the young man’s version, the forensic report has not yet been sent to Caracas so that the authorities can corroborate the state of health of his mother, whom the government accuses of terrorism. He also mentioned that the public defender has carried out the reviews in the city of Caracas and the report does not appear.
“Please, this is a call to Judge Eduard Briceño of Caracas of the Fourth Court of Terrorism,” Sierralta pointed out, adding that it is in that court where his mother’s forensic report should arrive.
“To prosecutor Tareck William Saab, we need your help so that my mother can get out of there and receive the care she needs, my mother is dying there, please,” he cried.
«MY MOM IS DYING THERE».
