The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, canceled his trip to Europe, scheduled for next Monday (4). During the trip, Haddad would pass through Paris (France), London (United Kingdom), Berlin (Germany) and Brussels (Belgium), where he would meet with authorities and talk to investors.
The cancellation was a request from the President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who will rely on the minister to resolve the country’s internal affairs.
According to a note from the Ministry of Finance, the agenda will be resumed at another more opportune time.
