Only the top four placed will compete in Série A of the Brasileirão in 2025. On Sunday (3), at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), there will be live broadcast de Ceará x Avaí on TV Brasil.. If Vozão doesn’t win at Arena Casteão, in Fortaleza, Santos will be able to celebrate their return to Série A next year.

Although away from home, Novorizontino began dominating the match, which began in a light rain. Three minutes were enough for Tigre to open the scoring at Arena Condá. The play started with number 9 Neto Pessoa on the left: he passed it to full-back Igor Formiga on the right, who crossed back for Neto to shoot straight into the back of the net. After the goal, the game lost its rhythm and heavy rain left the field heavy.

Novorizontino retreated, and Chape took the opportunity to attack in search of a draw. Verdão do Oeste’s best chance was in the 45th minute, after a beautiful pass from Ítalo for midfielder Rafael Carvalheira to shoot a bomb, which went past goalkeeper Airton.

After the break the rain stopped, but the pitch remained poor. Chape returned even more offensive in the second half, and the visitors created little. In the 16th minute, Marcinho advanced and crossed into the penalty area, but Tigre’s defense was attentive and prevented the play. Two minutes later, it was Maílton who launched and goalkeeper Airton stepped up and saved. The best chance for a draw came in the 32nd minute, but Airton closed Tigre’s goal twice. The first was a precise shot from Rafael Carvalheira and, subsequently, the ball to Marcelo Júnior, who kicked for a new defense by Airton. In the final 10 minutes, the rain hit Arena Condá again. And when the score already seemed set, Novorizontino expanded with a header from Patrick, after a corner kick taken by Danilo Barcelos.
