The president of the Dominican Oil Refinery (Refidomsa), Leonardo Aguilera, clarified that the country has no fuel supply problems, and assured that the market supply is guaranteed.
Aguilera made the clarification after some media attributed to him having warned that the country only has fuel availability for 30 or 45 days.

What was declared by the executive was in the context of a possible extension of the crisis between Russia and Ukraine, which he pointed out, he hopes that it will not be prolonged.

“The country can be sure that for the supply of derivatives of the Petroleum There have not been, nor will there be, doubts in our hands,” he said.
He gave as an example that the company is currently immersed in the process of building the spheres that will increase the storage capacity of LPGone of the oil derivatives with the greatest impact on the lives of all Dominicans.
Likewise, Aguilera, before another question about the price of oil, said that according to reports from investment banks and multilateral organizations, if the conflict continues crude oil could hit $125 a barrel.
However, he clarified that if the Russia-Ukraine conflict does not escalate, the price tends to stabilize or decrease.
