Immigrant worker visa

Visado trabajadores inmigrantes

The president of the Dominican Association of Housing Builders and Developers (Acoprovi), Annerys Melendezsuggested that foreign deportation operations be carried out in an organized manner.

He reported that this union is willing to work with the authorities to establish fluidity in work visas for immigrants, currently detained, which affects the construction sector.
He expressed that there is an undeniable reality that, in most countries, immigrants are the ones who carry out the rudimentary construction work.

He added that these tasks are not a preference for Dominicans, as is the case with nationals in most countries, which is why foreign labor needs to be regulated in an organized manner.
