BCP denies that its clients’ information has been violated

BCP

The Credit Bank of Peru (BCP) issued a statement in which it denies any type of attack, in response to a series of publications on social networks that warn about an alleged leak of customer data of this banking entity.

In the statement, the BCP reported that they have not detected “any violation of our systems or our database”, contrary to what has been spreading on social networks.

In addition, the banking entity also recommended its clients and the general public to “consult official sources and not share false information that could generate unnecessary concern.”

The BCP also took the opportunity to inform its clients that they have strengthened their security monitoring system.
