The president of the Republic, Dina Boluarteassured this Thursday that, when he assumed the Presidency, there was no oil or sugar. Likewise, he indicated that Peru currently has the lowest inflation rate in the region.
“We found a country in chaos, not one in vainglory with everything ready. We found a country with a deficit, without works, without schools or hospitals, with high school dropouts and with a dollar that was constantly rising,” he said from Juanjui, in Tarapoto.
Boluarte referred to citizen security and stated that his government has been the one that has granted the largest budget to the National Police. In that sense, he pointed out that the police institution was lacking in equipment and resources: “We have given our National Police a historic budget that no other government has given to implement them.”
TO THE JUDICIAL POWER
The head of state asked the Public Ministry and the Judiciary not to release the criminals “that the police hand over to them.”
“Gentlemen of the Judiciary, not everything, some judges and some prosecutors who are not wearing the shirt of Peru; it seems that they are wearing the shirt of criminals,” he indicated.
Before ending her speech during an event of the ‘Llamkasun’ Temporary Employment program of the Ministry of Labor, the president promised to increase the budget of this initiative for next year.
