More than 79 trips by air to the interior and exterior of the country, Argentina and Venezuela, mostly as a destination, are the ones that CSVP, the alleged victim of Evo Morales, would have made, together with his mother IPS, between 2015 and 2019, according to information released by the Departmental Prosecutor’s Office of Tarija.

“Within this cause, what has caught our attention the most, These are the internal and external trips that (the victim) would have made between the 2015 and 2019 administration. There are more than 79 trips that one of the accused (IPS), together with the victim (CSVP), would have made to Venezuela and Argentina,” reported the departmental prosecutor of Tarija, Sandra Gutiérrez, at a press conference.

The coca leader is being investigated for alleged rape and human trafficking because he had a relationship with a minor in 2015, as a result of which a girl who is currently eight years old was born.

The investigation is being carried out in Tarija, the department where the alleged victim lived with his parents who are now accused, however, The defense of the coca grower leader filed an action for freedom, on October 11, so that the process can be transferred to Cochabamba, the court where the main accused resides.

The jurisdictional authority that analyzed the case rejected the request from Morales’ defense, therefore, the investigation will continue in Tarija.

“We have received countless incidents and exceptions. We are, as the Public Ministry, acting objectively and responding in accordance with the law. The investigation is being carried out in the city of Tarija, despite the incidents that they (the defense) have raised,” clarified prosecutor Gutiérrez.

It is estimated that, to date, the case has already accumulated eight investigation notebooks (bodies) that are still in their preliminary stage.

On the other hand, the representative of the Public Ministry of Tarija asked the alleged victim to appear to testify and reiterated that she will be given all the necessary guarantees so that she feels safe in a Gesell chamber.

“Obviously it is key in the investigation. I tell her that I offer you all the guarantees so that you can declare and tell your truth,” prosecutor Gutiérrez responded to a question from EL DEBER.

Currently, the whereabouts of the victim and her mother are unknown, and she also did not appear before the Public Ministry. Both are safe due to lack of legal security in the country, according to lawyer Carlos Trujillo, who is legally defending them in this case.

Since last October 13, the father of the young EVM has been detained preventively in the Morros Blancos prison, in Tarija.

The representative of the Public Ministry of Tarija added that to date An arrest warrant could not be issued against Morales. because the investigations continue. “At the appropriate time we will make it known,” the prosecutor responded when asked about this matter.

Likewise, Gutiérrez admitted that he has received several calls from victims and that they do not want to give their identity for fear of retaliation.

The departmental prosecutor mentioned that These women do not want to appear due to “intimidation” of which they are subject and that for this reason they could suffer regrettable consequences.

For his part, Attorney General Roger Mariaca in a press conference was cautious in referring to this case and left it in the hands of the Tarija Prosecutor’s Office. He added that it will depend on the jurisdictional authority of justice to grant or not the continuous reservation of this process.

“Within the powers that the Public Ministry has is to request the reservation of the case. I understand that it has been requested, again (the reservation), to the jurisdictional authority, which is why it prohibits me from mentioning (about the case). In the case of such a delicate event where the victim would presumably be a minor, that is why I cannot refer to it,” said the representative of the Public Ministry.

The reservation in the notorious case, which dates back to September 26, was for 10 days and was to be lifted last Friday, but was extended for one more day.

At that time, The Tarija Prosecutor’s Office carried out raids and inspections, in addition to requesting information from different institutions such as the General Personal Identification Service (Segip), the Civic Registration Service (Sereci) and Boliviana de Aviación (BoA), among others.

The deputy of the Citizen Community (CC) Luciana Campero said in a contact with EL DEBER that the Public Ministry already has sufficient elements to summon Evo Morales to testify and be charged.

“Beyond the arrest that can be issued by the Public Ministry, Evo Morales is being investigated, but he is not even charged in the case and this is very serious because the victim’s father, at this moment, is not only accused but is in preventive detention,” said the national legislator.

He added that this is a sign that there is “a clear impunity that Evo Morales still enjoys” achieved around the demonstrations that have originated on Bolivian roads, whose epicenter is the Tropics of Cochabamba.

“So, I think it is not necessary for the Prosecutor’s Office to continue announcing what they have against Evo Morales. What happens is very clear, There are all the sufficient elements to accuse and also learn Evo Morales, but there is no will to do so, because Justice and the Public Ministry continue to be managed from the abyss,” Campero added.

Finally, he said that if the case is not declared confidential again, it will be required “that once and for all” the information collected can be socialized with the citizens, taking into account that this is a very delicate case where violations have been made. rights of minors.

The Minister of Government, Eduardo Del Castillo, in a press conference urged former President Morales to take a DNA test to prove or not his paternity.

“I already We have stated on repeated occasions that why does he not undergo DNA testing? that correspond to prove whether or not that girl is his daughter. The moment you, Evo Morales, dare, dozens of minors will appear who have been raped by you,” the minister said.

Meanwhile, Beto Astorga, deputy for CC, placed posters with the photo of former President Morales in the facilities of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly (ALP) with the message “Evo Morales Pedophile.” He also posted images of President Luis Arce.

“We have placed these images in the ALP to hI remind the Evista and Arcist parliamentarians that their two bosses, one is a pedophile and the other is a pusillanimous person. “We are going to continue spreading these images and we are even going to do it in La Paz because the Bolivian people have become hostages of these two characters,” the parliamentarian told the media.

The Cruceñista Youth Union, the Local University Federation (FUL) of the Gabriel René Moreno Autonomous University (Uagrm) and the Departmental Youth Council They gave the Bolivian Police, the Public Ministry and the Ministry of Government 48 hours to address a series of specific demands, about the current situation in the country.

The first demand demands the arrest of former president Evo Morales Ayma. The second refers to the blockades in both Cochabamba and Santa Cruz, They demand that they be lifted immediately; and the third refers to subjugations.
