A study by Opción Consultores analyzed voting trends in plebiscites on night raids and social security. The results show that the plebiscite on night raids obtained 39.6% support, while the social security plebiscite reached 39.9% of the votes.
In partisan terms, the National Party (PN) was the one that would have expressed the greatest support for the plebiscite on night raids, with 71.08% of its voters supporting it. This support was followed by the Independent Party (PI), with 68.38%, and the Colorado Party (PC), with 68%. In contrast, the Frente Amplio (FA) would have been the party with the least support for this plebiscite, with just 11.4% support.
On the other hand, the plebiscite on social security received its greatest support from the FA, with 66.32%, followed by Sovereign Identity, with 62.97%. The parties that would have shown the least support for this measure were the PN, with 9.1%, and the PI, with 8.24%.
The analysis also revealed patterns of support by age: people aged 60 or older would have been those who voted in a greater proportion for the plebiscite on night raids, while the plebiscite on social security was mostly supported by voters between 35 and 44 years old.
