Do banks open on November 1?

Next Friday, November 1, 2024, the Day of the Dead will be celebrated, according to the CNBV, banks in Mexico do not open these days in November.

The National Banking and Securities Commission publishes in the Official Gazette of the Federation the days on which credit institutions must close their doors and suspend operations during 2024.

The celebration of the Day of the Dead brings with it a pause in various activities. For banking services, it is the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) that defines the calendar of days on which financial institutions will remain closed.
