The The Argentine Foreign Ministry confirmed this Thursday that air traffic in Ukraine is suspended and that the only evacuation routes to Poland or Romaniatwo of its neighboring countries, they are by land and presenting a passport and Covid-19 certificatedepending on the case, although the Government is working to make some requirements more flexible.
According to recent information released by the Polish Border Guard, all border crossings between that country and Ukraine are operational.
Those Argentine citizens who want to enter Poland They must have a valid passport, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“Furthermore, although the Polish immigration authorities have stated that they are preparing new rules that will make the requirements related to Covid more flexible, if they have it, it is recommended that those who cross the border have a vaccination certificate and/or a negative test,” it was explained.
As for Romania, the border crossings open at the moment are Halmeu, Sighetu Marmației and Siret, reported the Romanian Border Police mentioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
To enter Romania, Argentine citizens do not need a visa, although they must prove that they have economic resources, the official information added.
In this case, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship also clarified that “although the Romanian immigration authorities have stated that they are preparing new rules that will make the requirements related to Covid more flexible, if they have it, it is recommended that those who cross the border have with a vaccination certificate and/or negative test. The Argentine Embassy is taking steps with the Romanian authorities in order to relax the requirements of the entry health measures”.
