In the early hours of Monday, July 28, a presentation hearing was held for 16 officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) for the escape of Abraham Hayón, mayor of the city of Mucuchíes in Mérida, which was evident on Friday the 25th. .

A national prosecutor of the Public Ministry in Mérida was appointed and the second commander of the PNB, Miguel Domínguez, sent directly by the Ministry of the Interior and Justice under Diosdado Cabello.

Diosdado Cabello referred to the statements on social networks offered by the mayor of Mucuchíes where he reflected on the July 28 elections, urging the international community to recognize the triumph of Edmundo González Urrutia, emphasizing that the US – as an ally of Venezuela – “It must, as the first world power, intervene in humanitarian action to guarantee peace and institutional order in the Republic of Venezuela.”
Abraham Hayon Chocrón, on June 27, reaffirmed his support for the opposition presidential candidate Edmundo González Urrutia and the founder of Vente Venezuela, María Corina Machado, during a massive assembly of workers in Mucuchíes and the presence of more than 100 workers.
“The cards are cast and we just need to count them, since it is a clear election that will be 90 to 100, 95 to 100 or 100 to 0,” said the mayor before the elections. Likewise, he expressed that Venezuela would become a power again with the victory of González Urrutia.
