Velarde explained the fundamentals of Peru to investors in Washington

The president of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCR), Julio Velardepresented the macroeconomic fundamentals of Peru to investors in Washington in work sessions that took place in parallel to the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB).

In them he was accompanied by the general manager of the BCRP, Paul Castillo, and the central manager of Economic Studies, Adrián Armas.

Julio Velarde was a speaker at the Emerging Markets Forum and in sessions organized by JP Morgan, Bank of America, Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee, Banco Itaú de Brasil, BBVA and Council of the Americas, among others.

Paul Castillo presented a conference on emerging markets organized by Deutsche Bank. For his part, Adrián Armas was a speaker at Fintech Week, with topics such as the financial inclusion revolution, and at a conference organized by XP Investments.

The IMF and WB meetings, which took place between October 21 and 26, bring together the highest representatives of central banks, finance ministries, multilateral organizations and public entities, as well as business leaders, organizations and of the academy.
