He showed a better game, but it was not enough. The national team added its second consecutive defeat in the South American U-20 Futsal Championship that takes place in Luque, Paraguay. This time, on date 2 of Group B, La Verde fell 3-1 against Colombia.
The team led by Mauricio Arnez was more compact and played a more solid game, however they could not stop the coffee force. The first half was tight, but Colombia managed to break the score thanks to its offensive power. The first two goals came through Nicole Mancilla and Gineth Giménez (2-0).
